talk to your fro, your fro is wild

February 6, 2011

Check the top rated comment on this video at youtube: “I watched a documentary on Soul Train the other day. They interviewed Questlove and he said after this commercial he never let his fro look bad again. ‘Frederick Douglass didn’t have to tell me but once.'”

I must confess I stole this from my buddy Joe, who is a fellow blogger on the blog I’ve been contributing to down here in North Carolina, Circle Shirk. If yon BWP folk need another blog to dick around on at work or whatever, I recommend Circle Shirk wholeheartedly. Occasionally there are boring ass posts about NC college basketball (yawn), but other than that it’s usually entertaining.

Miss you guys.

Really worth sitting through 2.5 hrs again?

Just saw a commercial for Inception getting released on DVD while watching the Tim & Eric Awesome Show Great Job! Crimbus Special (which is a whole other thing. An hour of T&EASGJ! was definitely a slog, considering that show was sometimes tough to watch in even 15 min blocks). Inception was the first movie I saw after getting back from Malawi, and probably wasn’t the best choice for someone who had just had a traumatic brain injury (I couldn’t concentrate too good). The question is, is it actually worth watching again now that I can concentrate too good?

I guess there’s some pretty alright Verne’s out there. Jules Verne, Verne Dawson, one of the creators of BWP.

But whatchu know about Verne & Craig? Two radio hosts from Pheonix, AZ in the mid ’70s who ran an extremely offensive comedy show for a little over a year, The Love Workshop.

A good place to start is “Jesus Christ: Air Conditioning Repairman”

But for those of you with sicker senses of humor (you’re in good company here) check out the “Anita Bryant Orange Juice Ad” and “Kent State” shows

Sorry about that.

I woke up the other day to find that some ants had worked throughout the night building themselves a small anthill by cleaning up the little bits of dirt and pebbles near the entrance to my room. When I closed the door to lock it before I left for work it split the anthill in two:

Now the ants have divided camp and are constantly stealing pieces back and forth from their two homes.

Thanks ants…. thants
